Starry Nights

Are we human because we gaze at the stars, or do we gaze at the stars because we are human?

Neil Gaiman, Stardust

One of the most outstanding parts of living out here in the country has been the stars. On a moonless night they are so bright you can lay out in the driveway and still see everything around you. The light spilling from the Milky Way is often seen across the sky and constellations aren’t just dots you think you may see but fully visible and prominent in the nights sky. I look forward as the boys continue to grow to relearning my constellations and exploring the night sky with them. I also look forward to someday buying a camera lens better suited for astrophotography.
